The legal environment for internships has become more complex for both employers and university career services organizations. Learn from an expert panel what you need to know to ensure that your program is in compliance with federal, state and local guidelines.
Experiential learning has become an integral part of the curriculum of many academic institutions. Students expect to experience quality internships before they graduate, and many employers utilize internships to develop the talent they need for their entry level positions. So how do you know if you're doing it correctly?
Employers are challenged to structure internships that meet academic standards and are within the parameters defined by law.
Career Centers are challenged to ensure that employers provide a productive learning experience for their students. They need to be able to engage in a constructive dialog with employers around these issues.

Attendees at this meeting can expect to pick up tips and techniques to strengthen their presentations and feel more comfortable presenting. Attendees will apply session ideas to their own presentation situations. We encourage attendees to bring questions about their actual presentations in development.
